ClaimLens AI guide

How to run a TikTok compliance check

Use this workflow when you are new to social media marketing, high-risk product content, or TikTok policy reviews. The goal is to give the app enough context to spot risky claims and show practical edits.

Step-by-step workflow

1

Create your workspace

Sign up, confirm your workspace name, and use the included trial checks to test your first TikTok review.

2

Add checks before volume work

Use Billing inside the dashboard to choose a monthly plan or buy prepaid top-ups. One submitted content package uses one check.

3

Choose the right content type

Use Generic post for normal posts, TikTok ad for paid ads, Affiliate post when someone is earning commission, and Organic commercial for brand/product posts without paid placement.

4

Upload the actual media

Add the final video or photos whenever possible. The worker can extract spoken audio, visible text, sampled frames, and visual evidence from the files.

5

Add helpful context

Caption, hashtags, landing page URL, product category, target audience, reviewer notes, and pasted page copy help the report understand the full post.

6

Submit and wait for processing

The app queues the check, extracts evidence, reviews claims, and produces a policy-linked report when processing finishes.

7

Read What to do next first

Start with the report coaching section. It explains whether to post, edit first, or avoid posting this version.

8

Fix, rerun, then export

Apply the safer caption, on-screen text, disclosure, CTA, and landing-page recommendations. Recheck the edited version before posting.

FAQ

What counts as one check?

One check is one content package: video or image set, optional caption, hashtags, product context, landing URL, and supporting notes.

Which content type should I pick?

Pick Generic post for a normal unpaid post, TikTok ad for paid media, Affiliate post for commission-driven content, and Organic commercial for brand/product content that is not a paid ad.

Will the app create the transcript automatically?

Yes, when media processing and OpenAI are configured. You can still paste a manual transcript to supplement or correct the automatic extraction.

What if my video has text on screen?

The report separates spoken transcript from visible/on-screen text and uses both as evidence for claims, risky wording, and suggested fixes.

What does High Risk / Do Not Post mean?

It means the supplied version contains severe policy risk. Use the safer alternatives in the report and recheck before posting.

Does this guarantee TikTok approval?

No. ClaimLens AI provides compliance risk guidance, not legal advice, regulatory certification, or a guarantee that TikTok will approve or keep content live.

How long are uploads retained?

The default retention policy keeps uploaded media, extracted evidence, transcripts, and reports for 30 days before cleanup.

How do billing and top-ups work?

Monthly plans include checks, and prepaid top-ups add more checks at the current top-up pricing. PayPal or Square must be enabled and configured before paid checkout works.

Can an admin grant checks?

Yes. Platform admins listed in ADMIN_EMAILS can open the admin portal and grant courtesy or dispute credits to any workspace.
